Mariana Pajon Londoño: BIRTH (Medellín, October 10, 1991) is an athlete, bicicrosista, Colombian BMX cyclist and Olympic medalist.
It is recognized as the number one in the world rankings of the UCI, gold medalist in the Olympic Games in Rio 20161 and 2012 Summer Olympics, the only Colombian athlete to get an Olympic bicampeonato. Mariana is the first Latin American woman to win two Olympic gold medals in an individual sport.
For being Olympic champion at the Games in London, the Colombian government's she decorated with the Cross of Boyacá, besides being twice champion Olympic, Mariana has won several global, national, American, Latin American and Pan American championships, among others. In 2016 the city of Medellin opened on behalf of the BMX Supercross track Mariana Pajon.
